SUMMARY OF THE FIRST DAY OF THE GORDION ARKEOFILM FESTIVAL

The Gordion Arkeofilm Festival, organized by the Gordion Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Cinema, the Ministry of Industry and Technology Ankara Development Agency, and Polatlı Municipality, began today with an opening ceremony and student films. After the film screenings held at the City Council hall, a discussion on “Cultural Heritage and Documentary” was moderated by Prof. Dr. Nihan Gider Işıkman from Başkent University and her student Bilge Güneş. The festival opening and film screenings were attended by a large audience, including Polatlı Mayor Mr. Mürsel Yıldızkaya.
