THE FESTIVAL CONTINUED WITH ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL EVENTS IN GORDION
The Gordion Arkeofilm Festival, organized by the Gordion Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Cinema, the Ministry of Industry and Technology Ankara Development Agency, and Polatlı Municipality, was held in Gordion today.
As part of the Türkiye Culture Route Festival, events took place at the Midas Tumulus park area in Yassıhöyük Neighborhood, which houses the ancient city of Gordion. The concert “Hidden Sounds of Phrygia,” directed by Prof. Dr. Cenk Güray from the Music Theories Department of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, and the dance performance “Gordion’s Angora,” prepared by makeup artist Oya Kadriye Polat, were well received.
In the garden of the Gordion Museum, the “King Midas Ceramic Exhibition” prepared by the Ceramics and Glass Department of Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts and the theater performance “Heritage of the World” by the Tohumluk Foundation Young Theatre Group were presented.
