THE PREMIERE OF THE “ANKARA TUMULI” DOCUMENTARY WAS HELD AT THE MUSEUM OF ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATIONS

Prepared by the Gordion Foundation in collaboration with the Municipality of Polatlı, the METU Ankara Tumuli Project Team, the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, and the Gordion Excavation Directorate, the documentary titled Ankara Tumuli, which presents time capsules carrying Phrygian traces from Gordion to Ankara, had its first screening at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
The premiere was attended by Polatlı Mayor Mürsel Yıldızkaya, Ankara Provincial Director of Culture Erhan Karakaya, Director of the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations Yusuf Kıraç, President of the Gordion Foundation Kadim Koç, and numerous guests.
Directed by Kadir Uluç and produced by Kadim Koç, the documentary was academically advised by Gordion Excavation Group Director Brian Rose and METU Ankara Tumuli Project Director Assoc. Prof. Ela Aral. As with our previous documentaries, Ankara Tumuli will take part in festivals held in Turkey and around the world.
