The Gordion Archaeofilm Festival aims to protect and ensure the sustainability of cultural values both in Ankara, Polatlı, and globally. The festival, under the theme of “Cultural Heritage,” seeks to transfer historical, cultural, and natural environments to future generations. Through this, societal awareness is increased, and cultural values are preserved and updated via the documentary film festival.

The festival also makes a significant contribution to the promotion of our city and event on national and international platforms. Among its primary goals are processing the existing cultural richness of our country, creating an archive of information, documents, and records through documentary films, and supporting the development of cultural tourism in the region.
